The inspiration for the DAYpack came during a month of traveling with ant collectors in Madagascar. They carried their most necessary tools with them in small shoulder bags. These bags also contained other necessary items such as a water-bottle, snacks, phone and camera. The content of these bags is intended to be accessed on-the-go, so they are designed to give access to all tools, even when closed.
